#43: The Customer is Always Right
One of the worst things about working in hospitality is having to deal with terrible customers all of the time. The first thing you learn when you start in the hospitality business is that “The customer is always right”. This is a good rule of thumb, but it doesn’t always work out.
Just because you want something to look a certain way for your Instagram, doesn’t mean that perfectly good food should go to waste… Oh and bringing back a taped-up mango to your fruit shop because it was “too ripe”, isn’t an acceptable thing to do.
