Dru Presta
Although dwarfism isn’t a rare condition, some people still struggle to accept it. Dru Presta was born with a form of dwarfism, and today she is 3.4 feet tall. Despite the challenges, Dru has managed to break the boundaries and and join the fashion industry (they say that models must be tall, but that’s really only true for runway models).
She might be small, but she has a big dream: she wants everybody in the modeling industry to be accepted not despite their individuality, but because of it. As a society, we still have a very strict sense of what’s considered beautiful, and Dru, through the power of social media, is determined to change that. Actor Peter Dinklage did the same with acting – no one could care less about this unusual height, thanks to his memorable performance in GOT.
