I Didn’t Say I Liked It
When you get a new haircut you’re really excited about, and someone asks where you got it done, it’s usually because they like it. Or at least that’s what you want to think. That’s not always the case, though; sometimes they ask where you got the haircut, or the new clothes, or your makeup, because they think it was a mistake.
That’s their way of saying they don’t like your new haircut. It’s a strange way of telling someone you don’t like their new hair; why ask where they got it? Maybe she wanted to know in order to stay away from that place. Still, that seems like a strange thing to say to a stranger.
