Ryker Was Found by a Couple of Strangers
After an intense 48-hour search, little Ryker was finally discovered! Nestled in the heart of Sanders County, at the crossroads of Pine Ridge Road and South Fork Bull River Road, the boy was found. This location, a staggering two and a half miles from Ryker’s home, was an old log cabin where he’d found refuge. This little adventurer had managed to turn his disappearance into an impromptu wilderness retreat!

In the icy grip of a raging storm, Ryker honed his primitive instincts, sniffing out a sanctuary of warmth and safety. It’s a marvel to consider how we are all born with this survival instinct, this innate GPS for life. Even toddlers, barely three, are hard-wired from birth to tap into these natural instincts, magnetically drawn to the art of survival. It’s a fascinating dance of nature and nurture, played out in the theater of life.
