#18: Joe Pesci
You probably recognize Joe Pesci from his many collaborations with Martin Scorsese, namely the 1990 hit Goodfellas. He even won an Oscar award for his role as Tommy DeVito, kicking the decade off with the right foot. He went on to star in My Cousin Vinny in 1992 and did some more collaborations with Martin Scorsese throughout the decade.
But despite his major success, Pesci decided to step down from acting in 1999. Apart from Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman (2019) and a couple of other roles here and there, we haven’t seen his skills and charm on screen since the 90s.
