#40: Take a Number—If You Dare
On the desk sits a sign: “Complaints about me or my work? Take a number.” Next to it, a grenade with a paper tag reading “1.” It’s the perfect blend of humor and menace, like customer service run by someone who’s completely out of patience.

Of course, it’s (hopefully) a replica, but the message is clear: filing grievances won’t end well. Instead of HR, you’re met with DIY explosive sarcasm. It’s less about conflict resolution and more about reminding coworkers that sometimes, keeping quiet really is the safest option.
