#13: Hanging on the Line
So, on the one hand, I think this might genuinely be a way to keep fried foods from getting soggy if it’s got air circulation on all sides. On the other hand, I keep picturing some poor line cook in the back struggling to get clothespins around a shrimp’s tail, and it’s a pretty funny image.
But can we talk about how sloppy this presentation is in general? I’m sure I can’t be the only person annoyed at how unevenly spaced those clothespins are. Also, what are those white things in the lettuce? They look like parchment paper. And then the whole board seems to be covered in little bits of something. It may be some kind of food, but it looks like the fried coating from the shrimp is falling off and making a mess.
