40 Times Restaurants Tried to Think Outside the Box and Somewhat Missed the Mark

The cutting board in this next picture is just unimaginative (and dusty looking). I mean, it genuinely looks like they ran out of dishes back in the kitchen and someone just rifled through the drawers and found an old cutting board that hadn’t been used in a few years.

The fryer basket is a little more unique, though, and I can’t decide if I like it or not. Is frying fries in a fryer basket, then transferring them to a smaller fryer basket, cute or just weirdly unnecessary? It’s like serving rice in a miniature decorative rice maker.
