Who hasn’t seen an “In case of fire” sign in a public building before? These signs appear in almost every public space, and typically display maps showing safe places to exit the building, as well as instructions as to what you should do if the building is on fire. Well, this sign is a bit different; it’s definitely been modified to fit the current social media-obsessed times.
While this sign can cause laughter, there’s a sad reality in it as well. We have no doubt that there are some people out there who really would stay in a burning building for a few extra seconds in order to take a photo and post it on Twitter–not realizing how critical those few seconds could be for them. Let’s just hope nobody was too busy looking at their phone to read the sign!
