Pippin
In 1995, the kings of the videogame industry included Nintendo, PlayStation, and Sega. But Apple decided it wanted to try to take over the gaming market, and so the company created a console that it called the Apple Pippin. Although it offered educational features and even web browsing, there was no demand for the product.
They wanted to try their lack in another niche, but Nintendo, PlayStation, and Sega were far too powerful for Apple to make a dent in sales with its new console. Out of 100,000 units produced, the company sold less than half. Needless to say, the Apple Pippin was a big product fail.
