The Samsung Galaxy Note 7
It’s one thing to produce a food that consumers don’t really love, but it’s a whole other thing to create a product that could actually be dangerous for customers’ use. Samsung, one of the world’s largest brands, ran into trouble back in 2017 when they came out with the new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone.
Shortly after the phone was released, reports of its batteries exploding and overheating began to emerge. Over two million phones were recalled, and Samsung made the wise choice to end production of the Galaxy Note 7 within a year of rolling out the product. Exploding cell phones… Sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie!
