In today’s world, social media has become such a big industry that it is difficult to imagine our daily lives without it. But while it has become such a big part of our lives, not every social media platform has been a success story.
Take the boomer-focused platform, Eons.com, for example. In 2006, Eons.com became the first platform for baby boomers and users of 40+. However, something in the advertisement of this platform failed to reach its target audience, and it was eventually acquired by an advertising company in 2011.
