Practice Makes Permanent
“Practice makes perfect.” Does it? According to the person below, it doesn’t. “I had a teacher that used to point out that no, practice makes permanent. If you practice something in an incorrect way, you’re going to perform incorrectly.” Sound advice. Sage wisdom of the highest caliber. We like this teacher.

Besides, perfection is unattainable. It’s a lofty goal to which no one should ascribe. No human is perfect. Now, that doesn’t mean you can’t practice something until it’s almost perfect. But, as humans, we’re inherently flawed. You may perform a dance routine “perfectly” in rehearsal and flub it up for the big recital.
