So, You Woke Up Every Two Hours?
“I slept like a baby!” is probably something your friends say or your father exclaims at the breakfast table over waffles. We’ll never understand why this is a legitimate phrase. This person below tried to contest it. “It implies that babies sleep really well. My second is four days old, I can confirm babies don’t sleep well.”
Newborn infants are just learning how to sleep during the night. They’re straight out of momma’s womb and quite bewildered by the world around them. Sleeping doesn’t come naturally to them right off the bat. That’s why it takes time for them to cultivate a sleep schedule. So, you should probably say you slept like you were dead.
