Perception Is Perception
“Perception is reality.” Is it, though? The person below seems to agree with us. “No, perception is perception, reality is reality,” they responded. We support that message. Think about it – our perception is colored by our life experiences, not the other way around. Our belief systems. Even how we were raised. Our parents imbue us with their own set of standards.
Ergo, it stands to reason that both of these things are separate. Perception is subjective, whereas reality is objective. You cannot tarnish reality with an opinion. It happens as is without impediment. Perception could be reality filtered through our respective lens. But it makes more sense to keep them as their own words with their own definitions.
