#32: The Falling Fork
This next one speaks to me on a personal level. I have a set of silverware with really heavy handles—heavier than the other end of each piece. I like the way they look and feel, but when I have a spoon or fork sitting in a bowl, the weight of the handle often causes them to tip, either falling into the bowl or falling out of the bowl and flinging food around.
As the poster says, “Wrong end of the fork fell into the bowl. Not the end of the world, but certainly mildly infuriating.” What really makes it infuriating, though, is wondering whether the product designers actually attempted to use their silverware before selling it.
