43 Times Relatively Small Inconveniences Created Feelings of Frustration

When I was a kid, I always thought it was so fun to see a train pass by: counting all the cars, wondering what was in each one, speculating as to where the train was coming from and where it might be going. Then I grew up and realized that seeing a train in the city is usually a cause for alarm.

Not because trains are inherently bad or anything, but because if you see one, there’s a good chance you’re going to be stuck waiting for it to pass for ages. The person who posted this photo waited forty eight minutes for the train to pass! Why are they so absurdly long?
