All Snuggled Up
There’s nothing like the feeling of holding your child in your arms for the first time. Human bodies have a natural instinct and this newborn baby is snuggling up with her father in kangaroo care. This father is radiant as he is holding his baby girl close to him, and she’s resting peacefully on her father’s chest. It’s such a simple, yet blissful moment, not to be taken for granted.
Research has shown that skin-to-skin care, as well as holding the newborn baby close to your skin, is beneficial for the development of their brain and heart. It is highly recommended that uninterrupted 60 minutes of skin-to-skin care should be done daily in support of the full development of the baby for the first three months.
