#7: Roly-Poly, the Pet Pillbug
Keeping pillbugs as pets may not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering a new addition to the family, but as this person would tell you, these little critters are quite the charmers! First off, you won’t have to worry about them wandering off or getting lost – these guys are more homebodies than a hobbit. And if you’re looking for low-maintenance, pillbugs are the ultimate in low-maintenance pets.
They don’t need fancy food or a fancy home – a simple container and some veggies will do just fine. And let’s not forget the entertainment value – watching these little guys roll up into a ball is like watching a tiny circus act. Just don’t be surprised if you start to anthropomorphize them and give them their own personalities – after all, who wouldn’t love a pet that’s equal parts cute and compost maker?
