#33: The Office: Bob Vance Refrigeration
This may not be a movie, but there’s a lot to be said about The Office. One of the things that makes the show so interesting is that the whole premise is that a camera crew is following all the employees at this office around. That means that everyone knows that they are being filmed, and they are all, to some extent or another, always performing for cameras – even if they don’t mean to.
As this fan theory points out, maybe at least one person in the show uses that to his advantage. The side character Bob Vance always introduces himself with his name and company title. What if that’s because he’s very smart and uses the camera crew as free advertising for his company?
