#22: Aladdin: Genie’s Scheme
Genie from Aladdin used to be my favorite character (who else would it be? Aladdin? Jasmine? No way), and after reading this theory, I like him even more for some reason. When Aladdin’s initial wish was to become a prince, the Genie’s response appears to be more of a clever strategy than immediate magic. To genuinely make Aladdin a prince would require more than just clothing and titles.

However, the Genie’s actions seemed deliberate in not taking this route. Instead, he orchestrated a series of events that allowed Aladdin and Jasmine to marry without any royal impediments, effectively securing Aladdin’s princely status as a consequence of their union.
