#20: Living Big on a Small Income
Did you ever sit down to watch an episode of Seinfeld and ask yourself, “How on earth is Kramer living in Manhattan, NYC, with no steady job?” We have, and it is absurd to think anyone could pull it off. (Yes, even Kramer). The fact is you probably can’t.
While it is possible to find an apartment in a big city without a steady flow of cash every month, it isn’t easy, and it won’t be sustainable. So, unless your best friend is a famous comedian willing to help you out when needed, we suggest keeping your day job if you want to afford an apartment in the city.
