Business as Usual
Dogs have their chewing toys and cats have their scratching poles. Our feline friends need to scratch their nails on rough surfaces to allow them to grow and keep their claws clean. They also do it to mark their territory, which is why they sometimes scratch our floor, doors, couches and anything they can get their claws on.
If you’re a cat owner, you must be familiar with the many different types of scratching poles. This one, for example, contains a bed for the cat to rest. It’s nice to see these cats know how to share – that’s an important quality for humans and animals alike – even though this bed is clearly meant for only one cat.
