You might want to sit down for this one; it could be a little shocking. Technology has replaced many jobs and is becoming a bigger and bigger part of our lives, but librarians do, in fact, still exist. Yup, that’s right. You can go to any building designated as a library and find a living, breathing, real-life human being known as a librarian.
And get the misconception that they’re prudish, old ladies who will walk around shushing you out of your head, too. Today’s librarians are educated, great with technology, and full of Jeopardy-worth trivia facts. You never know what you might learn by talking to one and they want you to ask!
