“You don’t need money to be happy.” Another variation of the “money doesn’t buy happiness” phrase. “Usually, this quote is used by those who are already filthy rich,” is a response from one Reddit user. It’s not uncommon for the obscenely wealthy to throw around buzzword, cookie-cutter sayings like this.
If they were born into riches and opulence, chances are they don’t comprehend the plight of the impoverished. Those who subsist on food stamps and weather-worn clothing. Who maybe skip a meal because food is scarce. Those with money simply can’t fathom what it’s like to be poor, so it’s easy for them to speak.
