Who lives there?
This is the famous “Melting House” of Paris, and despite what you might think, this isn’t photoshop either. This is a real photo of a building in Paris, taken in 2007. During that time, the building was going through renovations. In an attempt to hide the construction work, that ruined the street’s aesthetics, they covered the building with an illustrated image.
They glued this image to the frame of the building, in order to hide the work in progress, and this is what you see before you. At the time, it was referred to as the “Melting House.” We knew they cared about aesthetics in Paris, but we never realized they’d go through such lengths to keep their streets beautiful and inviting.
