#10: A Shocking Off-Brand
The name of this off-brand chocolate bar doesn’t instill a lot of confidence. Would you eat something called “Shocker’s” instead of a tried and true Snickers bar? Yeah, we wouldn’t either. Shocker’s is the cheap off-brand that someone buys when they’re really desperate and out of cash. It doesn’t taste or look the same, but it’s the thought behind it that counts.
Shocker’s tries really hard to look like a Snickers bar, but we don’t think it’s fooling anyone. Although the color scheme and wrapper are so close to the name-brand, it’s somehow way off. There’s no way this off-brand tastes as good as the name brand. Sometimes, paying the extra few bucks is worth it.
