#20: Avatar: Iroh’s Tea
There are two kinds of people in the world: people who think that Uncle Iroh is the best character in Avatar: the Last Airbender (and possibly in any TV show ever), and people who are wrong. He acted as the moral compass for his nephew, who was the antagonist for much of the show, and showed that there can be thoughtful, wise, good people on either side of a conflict.
Despite being the brother of a power-hungry despot, Iroh believes in peace and harmony among all nations. This fan proposes that perhaps his famous love of tea is symbolic of this core belief. One thing is for sure: don’t let him hear you call it “hot leaf juice.”
