#14: Yes Worries
Do you ever say “no worries” when you really mean “yes worries”? We should start a support group. A lot of us feel obligated to always be available and do everything we are asked, even if we’re not up for it. We feel obligated to help out people at work, even if it comes at our expense.
And the worst part is that we say “no worries” as if this was no big deal, even at times when it is a big deal. The more I think about it, the more I think it’s a good idea to start a support group for people with this nasty habit. It really is a toxic trait because while we think we’re just being good people helping those around us, we end up hurting ourselves.
