Ah, McDonald’s. A massive worldwide juggernaut of the fast-food industry. A staple of American society. Many of us grew up eating McDonald’s, and while those of us in America often associate McDonald’s with burgers and fries, the rest of the globe has their own Mickey D’s items with a fast-food twist. In some places around the world, McDonald’s isn’t just another fast-foot chain, but a proper restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (and everything in between). When you visit a new country, eating at MdConald’s is a cultural experience. Let’s take a trip through the world wide web as we introduce some current (and defunct) McDonald’s dishes from around the globe.

The U.K. Bacon Roll
Yes, you read that correctly. McDonald’s restaurants in the United Kingdom boast a bacon roll on their breakfast menu. Apparently, you can top it with a brown sauce or ketchup. It’s literally bacon sandwiched between two rolls. Get ready to sit cozy in first-class while en route to Clogged Artery City!

That being said, we’re sure it tastes like the bomb-dot-com. Who doesn’t love a good bacon roll when they roll out of bed in the morning? Unless you’re vegan. Then you probably don’t love a good bacon roll. Oh well. More for us! If only this would make its way across the pond…
