If you’re interested in applying for a job in a certain field but don’t know how you measure up, post a similar fake job on a website like Craigslist. Then, you can study the resumes of all the people who applied to your fake job.

Is this ethical? Totally not! Plus, you’re giving people false hope about a non-existent job. However, some people may be tempted to try this depending on how desperate they are for a new job. If you only get a few applicants, this hack could end up being a total wash that’s a huge waste of time for everyone involved.
