In a personal injury case, a plaintiff had a broken leg. A well-known orthopedic surgeon was on the stand as an expert. The woman’s lawyer asked if he’d treated tibula fractures, to which he replied “no.” She finally asked how he could practice without treating tibla fractures…

To which he calmly corrected her that there’s no bone named “tibula.” The room stifled laughter, even the judge, as the lawyer turned red. Look, everyone makes mistakes, so this kind of thing happens. It’s just extra funny when it’s the lawyer who makes the mistake…
