#38: Not the Brightest
There are many reasons someone might not recognize the defendant in a case, but zero reasons they’d scan the jury and the rest of the room instead of looking straight at the defendant’s table. All courtrooms are laid out pretty much the same. Maybe she was tired or confused.
While the lawyer never says who won, my guess is that all charges were dropped. Either that person didn’t commit the crime, or the witness/victim never saw the attacker. If the latter were true, that would have been a large part of the defense, and the prosecution would have planned for it.
