#6: Lily Pads Hopping
Not many of us spend our days hopping around between lily pads, and as such, we’re not necessarily used to seeing them at all, much less seeing them flipped over on their backsides. It’s a shame because we’re missing a pretty special aesthetic gift from Mother Nature.

The backs of lily pads really do look like some vein system or even electrical wires branching out from a central cable. These are probably pretty sensible comparisons, actually, as (just guessing here) I would think the role of those “veins” is to carry nutrients from the water into the plant.
