Modern restaurants are praised for their sleek, minimalist designs that are Instagram-worthy. However, there are times when restaurants try a little too hard and it backfires. This restaurant in Iceland was going for a modern, sleek look with this unique wall feature. Instead, they have a wall that looks like a bunch of toilet paper stacked on top of each other. 

These asymmetrical stacks of wood do not make us feel like we’re eating a romantic dinner in the middle of the Icelandic wilderness. It makes us feel like we’re trapped in a toilet paper fort full of dust. That’s not a pleasant idea for anyone. Some walls are better left solid and painted white.
