#15: Sponge or Sink?
In our opinion, the designer of this bathroom sink got a little too artistic. This sink is carved out of a natural piece of limestone. The designer left every nook and cranny intact along the outside. These little holes are just waiting to be filled with dust, soap scum, and who knows what else.
Limestone is a very sturdy building material and a great choice for sinks and other long-term surfaces. The irony is that limestone is pretty easy to clean when it’s polished and sealed. The average limestone sink just needs a quick wipe-down every once in a while. Not this guy. He’s built differently and likes to be difficult.
