Caesar’s Section in History
Even though he lived in ancient times, Julius Caesar continues to get a lot of credit and recognition for the historical actions he took during his life. However, there is one aspect of this great emperor’s life that few people are aware of and that historians continue to debate to this day.
Some claim that the now common birthing technique known as a cesarean section is named after Julius Caesar. Other claims go even further and state that Caesar was the first person ever to be born of a c-section, so you can add that to a resume of accomplishments that is already memorable and very long.
