Been there, done that
The person who shared this photo online said he looked up at the truck in front of him to see the exact same photo his wife took on their trip to Belgium – the one he uses as the screensaver for his smartphone – on the back of a truck. It’s enough of a coincidence that the truck should advertise the same European town, but the exact same photo that his wife took truly seems like an improbable coincidence.
Is it possible that his wife shared her gorgeous photo online, and somehow these advertisers found it and decided to use it for their advertisements? If this is indeed the case, she should probably feel flattered that her photo was so good, it could serve as an advertisement for Bruges.
