Mario and Luigi are the famous American-Italian plumber brothers from the popular video game Mario Brothers. As you might know, the famous Mario first started his way years ago in the video game Donkey Kong, which later developed into the Mario Bros. and the Mario franchise. Since then, he’s become an empire.

With time, the character of Mario became so iconic, it was heavily featured in pop culture; on t-shirts and other merchandise, as Halloween costumes (a couple’s costume of Mario and Luigi is still a popular choice for Halloween), on TV, film and other media. Now we learn the iconic video game brothers are also the inspiration for bakeries and restaurants.
