We love a good Hollywood celebrity romance. We love it even more when both celebrities are amazing directors making top-notch films. Quentin Tarantino and Sofia Coppola dated each other for about two years between 2003-2005. During that time, it seems that they influenced each other’s work in more ways than one.
Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Lost in Translation both came out in 2003, when the pair were an official couple. On top of that, both films take place in Japan and both have a side character named Charlie Brown. Sure, it could be a coincidence, but we like to think that all of these things in common were more intentional on the directors’ parts.
