Amusing First Date Stories That Prove Love is a Battlefield

This has got to be the fourth or fifth story on the list where one of the parents is involved in the date. Why do so many people – adult people – think it’s okay to bring their parents along on dates? Are we missing anything? In this case, it sounds like either this girl wasn’t aware her dad was going to be there, or she tried to hide it from her date.

I guess it’s possible that she noticed her dad in the movie theater after she walked in on her date and didn’t want to say anything. On the other hand, because she gave him secret glances all night, it sounds like she knew he was going to be there. Whatever it is that was going on, it doesn’t sound like there was a second date.
