Obviously, filming a movie too close to a nuclear testing facility is not the best idea. You might get some cool special effects, but at what cost? Those poor cast members and crew suffered such serious medical damage just for the sake of a movie. What must it have been like for them to realize years later?

It’s a good thing we’ve learned from our mistakes and now have stricter regulations when it comes to filming in dangerous locations. But hey, at least The Conqueror can go down in history as a cautionary tale for future filmmakers. And we can only hope that future films choose a different place to go on location.
