Okay, hold up. Wearing toxic face paint is some serious dedication to your craft. I know the Wicked Witch of the West was supposed to look scary, but I had no idea that it came at such a high cost. It’s crazy to think that toxic face paint was used in movies.

But I guess back in the day; they didn’t have the same safety regulations that we do now. I have to give Margaret props for toughing it out, though. I don’t know if I could survive on a liquid diet for more than a day, let alone for the duration of a movie shoot. It’s the ultimate sacrifice!
