#40: Sounds Like a Happily Ever After
So, personally, I’ve never been married. But I assume lying to your spouse about something that she seems to think is really important is a bad idea. If she ever figures out the truth (as she very well might), it’s going to end in tears when she finds out you’ve been actively encouraging this lie for a long time, even going so far as to convince your kids to lie about it.

Especially since, if there’s anything we’ve learned from this list, it’s that kids aren’t great at keeping secrets. Either they’re going to blurt it out to their mother… or they’re going to post it on the Internet for the whole world to see.
