A Full-Time Job
Throughout this journey, Skipper followed some basic ground rules she set for herself: there would be no money exchanges – only barters – and she couldn’t trade items with friends or people she knew. She wanted this to be pure and authentic, and she didn’t want any favors from friends.
Seeking out potential buyers wasn’t always easy; even when she had a large following base and received hundreds of messages from people on a daily basis. If anything, this made things harder, as she had to spend hours going over the messages, replying to people, and looking for the best barter option out there.
