A Positive Trend
Most aspects of owning a dog are fun and rewarding. However, there are some facts that are difficult to confront, one of which is the large number of animals that enter shelters each year. Even though this is still a sad reality, fortunately, the ASPCA has some good news on that front.

They report that the total number of dogs entering shelters has dropped by almost one million since 2011. There are still a lot of lonely dogs that are in need of a happy home, but I am at least relieved that we are moving in the right direction. Do you think people who buy dogs instead of adopting should be served with a fine?
