While they were sad that their family member passed away, we’re sure they were amazed to receive such a staggeringly beautiful family heirloom. This particular piano is an 1864 Steinway & Sons Style 1 Rococo Grand Piano.

It’s kind of mindblowing to think of a family heirloom being this old. This piano is pre-Civil War, making it over 160 years old! This piano looks beautifully maintained. We sure hope the person who inherited this instrument keeps it tuned and plays from time to time. Heirlooms like this are meant to be preserved and appreciated!
