There are some pretty neat chess sets out there. Chess is over 1,500 years old, so we’ve had some time to invent interesting versions of the historical game. Chess has made it to the 21st century with this unique 3D printer creation. Someone designed a half-dome chess board with specially made chess pieces that stick into the curved sides. 

This curved chessboard is like nothing we’ve ever seen. The design certainly adds a new element of surprise to the classic game. It’s kind of hard to see all of your opponent’s pieces, making it extra challenging. The design is so cool that it serves as a board game and an art piece at the same time.
