#10: Printer Art
3D printing doesn’t always need a practical purpose. This person decided to test the limits of their 3D printer by drawing the most unhinged design and replicating it via 3D plastic. The initial drawing is compared to the final result pictured below. It looks pretty spot-on. It’s actually so perfect that it’s a little scary.
The person who designed this experiment drew a bunch of squiggles on a crooked pedestal. This drawing doesn’t necessarily defy the laws of physics, but it looks pretty hard to replicate in real life. Thankfully, the Flashforge 3D printer was up to the job. It got every squiggle and wild line. It even replicated the slanted pedestal, which is an impressive detail.
