#22: BlackBerry
Just like any other trend, popular technologies come and go. The early 2000s and 2010s saw the rise of the BlackBerry. Some of us remember it well. There was something so effortlessly cool about the BlackBerry phone’s tiny keyboard and giant digital screen. People with a BlackBerry were already living in the future while the rest of us peasants made calls from our flip phones.

Alas, BlackBerry phones lost popularity and faded into obscurity. We don’t see BlackBerry phones on the market anymore, which is why people are so surprised to learn the company still exists. BlackBerry still has the same iconic logo. They just specialize in car software and cyber security now. Business is all about adjusting to change and survival of the fittest.
